Why can't we remember things that happened when we were babies?

This is an activity that kids can do in class or at home, solo or with others. No print-outs needed!
Bonus Activity: Think of a happy memory from when you were little. Can you remember any happy memories that came earlier than that? If you can’t think of any, here are some questions to think about. What’s the first toy you remember playing with? Where is a place you liked to go when you were young? What’s a game you like to play? Who played it with you for the first time? If you get stuck, talk to someone older who knew you when you were little. Maybe they can tell you about something you did together. Draw a picture or write a sentence about what you remember.
